Rohit Bhargava
Seth Kenkel earned his BS and MS. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After graduation, he went to work for the Construction and Forestry Division at John Deere for two years and decided to pursue his doctorate degree in mechanical engineering. He is working on a continuum mechanics theory of nano-infrared imaging using atomic force microscopy for improving data quality of nano chemical imaging. In addition he is also working on improving resolution of conventional FTIR microscopy with structured illumination techniques using a Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) as well as compressed imaging. He currently works in the lab of Professor Rohit Bhargava.
