    TiMe Day, April 2020 (POSTPONED)

    Due to the COVID-19 situation, the CCIL is following University of Illinois guidelines to postpone or cancel all large gatherings. The Tissue Microenvironment (TiMe) Day Symposium has been postponed and will take place at a later date. Additional details will be provided as information becomes available.

    Recent Speakers

    Kirti Kulkarni, MD – May 19, 2018

    TiMe students had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Kirti Kulkarni of the University of Chicago’s Cancer Center. Dr. Kulkarni provided them an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day interactions of a radiologist with patients and physician colleagues, and also discussed the complexities of radiological reading.

    TiMe Day, April 2019

    The third annual TiMe Symposium featured over 90 participants across 15 departments at the University of Illinois. Faculty members including Professor Rashid Bashir, Dean of the Grainger College of Engineering provided research talks, in addition to four plenary speakers.

    TiMe Day, 2018

    The annual TiMe symposium featured a keynote by Dr. Steven Altschuler and Dr. Lani Wu of USCF, and plenary talks by Dr. Stephen Boppart (Professor,Illinois ECE), Dr. Jefferson Chan (Asst. Prof, Illinois Chem), Dr. Erik Nelson (Asst. Prof., Illinois MIP) and Dr. Chandrajit Bajaj (Professor, UTexas), as well as student presentations and an awards ceremony.
