Carlos Renteria is a PhD candidate in the Department of Bioengineering, and a member of the Biophotonics Imaging Laboratory. He received his BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University. He is currently utilizing computational tools and novel optical imaging technology to understand network connectivity and functionality in nervous tissue, and how perturbances to these networks affect network communication and signaling.
