Aidan Gilchrist is a Material Science and Engineering PhD candidate within the Harley Lab. Originally from Massachusetts, he received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A current Mavis Future Faculty Fellow, Aidan is interested in both the research and teaching side of academia, with each being an essential part of scientific dissemination. His research focuses on developing biomaterial platforms with dynamic properties through cellular remodeling, and the use of such a platform in directing stem cell lineage specification.
